THE HOBBIT AND OTHER MOVIES

Last night I went and watched the Hobbit. It was really good. But what was even better was the full 3D trailer for Life of Pi. A little bit of tear came out of my eyes while I watched the trailer. Oh my gosh it looks amazing. The colours and the animals and just oh my gosh. It is amazing. Oh my gosh. Ohhh my gosh.

Life of Pi is coming out on 1 Jan in New Zealand, but there is one advanced screening session on 20 Dec (sold out), and another one on 25 Dec (not on sale yet). I am going to try and get tickets for Dec 25. That would be the best Christmas ever. Or if I can't get any seats I will go the midnight screening on 1 Jan.

Oh, and originally I wasn't interested in the new Les Miserables movie, but now that I've seen the trailer in the theatre, I sort of want to watch it. I still don't really like the idea of Jean Valjean being played by Hugh Jackman and Fantine being played by Anne Hathaway. It's just that they are the face of Wolverine and Cat-woman...Or maybe it's just because I really like Liam Neeson and the 1998 version. Liam Neeson was the PERFECT Jean Valjean and Uma Thurman was a really believable Fantine.
