And I got a ticket from Queenstown to Auckland for $180.
I had no other option. Inflexible dates. ARRRRRRRRG.
Right now, for $250 I could get:
- A one way ticket to Tahiti (AirNZ sale)
- A one way ticket to Singapore (Jetstar sale)
- Return tickets to Melbourne/Sydney/Gold Coast (Jetstar sale)
Farrrrr out... I remember the same tickets were only $99 and $69 respectively, when I checked a few weeks ago. I'm paying more than double. ARRRGH.
Eh. Lesson learnt. Buy tickets WELL IN ADVANCE or GRAB DEALS WHILE YOU CAN.
Queenstown will be worth the money...I hope.
