The Takapuna Night Market started around a month ago and is held every Thursday night on the Hurstmere Green during Spring/Summer. There aren't that many booths at the moment, but I think it has the potential to become more exciting over the next few months. There is live music, lots of food, and lots of little sparrows chirping in the trees lined on Hurstmere Road.
At this time of the evening, the trees lined on Hurstmere Road are full of sparrows. If you look closely at the photos, you will realize that the ratio of sparrows to leaves is almost 1:2
