tweet tweet

Twitter makes me want to be a bird more than usual.

I think it's got something to do with being exposed to the cute Twitter bird logo...
and also because of my suppressed urge to type 'tweet tweet' into the box.

On average I felt like becoming a bird every time I had a blank moment, throwing breadcrumbs out into the garden, but now I think about it more than 5~6 times a week.

It would be so cool to be able to fly, and to be able to make weird noises.

If I could choose what type of bird to be, I would definitely NOT choose to be a chicken, goose, or turkey. The reason being that they suck at flying, they look disgusting, and because they're edible.

Oh, I would also NOT choose to be a seagull because they are so fierce, and I would not be able to survive.

But I wouldn't mind being:
-a sparrow (because they're cute and friendly)
-a mynah (because they look like they're from Egypt)
-the big bird from the movie "Up" (because it seems to have a pretty interesting/fun life + it's colorful)
-an eagle. I guess it'd be pretty cool. But I don't know if I'd ever get used to murdering and eating rabbits.

Hmmm
Being a lorikeet or budgie would be okay too, but I would want to be a wild lorikeet or budgie - not one with clipped wings in pet shops or peoples houses/cages.

Which reminds me... there was a seagull in a small cage at the Bird Zoo in Coromandel....
I felt so sorry for it.
I feel really sad now. Poor seagull.
I hate seeing birds in cages.

I shouldn't have visited the Bird Zoo.
